Thank-you for requesting to post; we welcome your insights and opinions. As you have discovered, to post in our community weblog all you have to have is a registered identity with livejournal.com. From there you don't have to formally request, but can type up your input and a moderator(s) will read your submission and approve/disapprove. We ask the following criteria in posting a new thread to the discussion:

1) Avoid profanity - we are all intelligent people and there are way funner words to use than "F**k" (or any other derivation of the word). All cussing is essentially out of bounds.

2) All postings, to include anonymous postings, are screened to ensure these guidelines are adhered to. (Screenings are not intended for editorial control, but maintain relevance to the isssue at hand, rule #1, and maintain the spirit of worthy discussion.

3) We are a community of wonders, that doesn't mean you have to be from the Christian persuassion to post. This is a designated "safe zone" for those who have questions and are willing to face the onslaught of answers a question might recieve.

4) Don't take it personally - this can be a tough playground, but as a poster you take the risk of skinning your knees.

5) The world is full of jerks, we ask that you don't be one of them.

6) Word play is welcome and in the spirit of spicing things up is appreciated, but remember at the end of the day we need to be associates/friends on common_grounds.

7) After reading rule #5 again, protect your identity and respect the identity of those in the community.

Welcome to common_grounds
